
Dr. T. P. Fowdur

Title of Keynote: Driving INDUSTRY 4.0 with 5G Mobile Communications
Professional Profile: Dr. T.P. Fowdur received his BEng (Hons) degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering with first class honours from the University of Mauritius in 2004. He was also the recipient of a Gold medal for having produced the best degree project at the Faculty of Engineering in 2004. In 2005 he obtained a full-time PhD scholarship from the Tertiary Education Commission of Mauritius and was awarded his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2010 by the University of Mauritius. He is also a Registered Chartered Engineer of the Engineering Council of the UK, Fellow of the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals of the UK and Senior Member of the IEEE. He joined the University of Mauritius as an academic in June 2009 and is presently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Mauritius. His research interests include Mobile and Wireless Communications, Multimedia Communications, Networking and Security, Telecommunications Applications Development, Internet of Things and AI. He has over 100 publications in these areas, including eight books, and is actively involved in research supervision, reviewing of papers and organizing international conferences.

Prof. Mohsen Koohestani
Professor, ESEO, France
Title of Keynote: Metasurfaces and their application for Intelligent Systems
Professional Profile: Prof. Mohsen Koohestani is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at ESEO in Angers, France, where he works on advanced electromagnetic and wireless systems. He received his PhD with honors in electromagnetics from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Universidade de Lisboa, and later earned a Higher Doctorate (HDR) from the Université de Rennes. He was a Senior Research Fellow at IETR before joining ESEO in 2018 and became Full Professor in 2024. His research spans antennas, microwaves, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), dosimetry/exposure assessment, wireless power transfer, and biomedical applications. He has authored many peer-reviewed publications and participates in international standardization groups (e.g., IEC SC47A on EMC for integrated circuits)..
Research Interests: Bio-electromagnetics, Antennas, metasurfaces.

Dr. Vivek Singh
Lecturer, University of Plymouth, United Kingdom
Title of Keynote: Computer Vision for Intelligent Systems
Professional Profile: Dr. Vivek Singh is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at the University of Plymouth, UK. He teaches AI and computer science modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering topics such as applied AI, software engineering, and systems design. Before joining Plymouth, he worked in industry on AI and machine vision technologies and held a Research Fellowship at the Visual Artificial Intelligence Lab, Oxford Brookes University. He completed his PhD in Computer Vision, where he focused on facial expression analysis and optimization of deep learning architectures.
Research Interests: multi-modal learning, artificial intelligence, medical image analysis.
